SHARPENING STONE

A sharpening stone is a flat, abrasive tool used to hone blades, made from natural or synthetic materials like diamond, ceramic, or aluminum oxide. These stones have varying levels of abrasiveness, called grit, with coarser stones removing metal faster for basic shaping and repair, while finer stones remove metal more slowly to produce a polished, sharper edge.
